Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) This position is responsible for rendering first aid treatment to sick and injured students and staff. Qualifications: Must be licensed as a Medical Assistant (MA) or a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA). Must have experience in providing direct health services in a clinic, hospital, or military out-patient setting under a physicians direction. Must be able to work in a team setting. Travel as required and other licenses and certifications as required by Agency or law. Must have own transportation to get to and from job site. Must possess a valid Texas Drivers License, on occasions may be called upon to transport clients for appointments, driving company's vehicle. Specific Duties: Assist in the Substance Abuse Services Program in HIV-AIDS education. Render first aid treatment, administer medication/prescription as prescribed by a physician, and Keep current medical records for ill and injured students and staff. Conduct health education sessions for participant population regarding personal hygiene, drug abuse, and health maintenance resources. Periodically conduct campus inspections regarding general housekeeping safety, fire, and maintenance conditions on premises. Candidates must pass background check conducted by the state and drug screen. We are seeking a nurse practitioner for our outpatient only internal medicine practice. The provider will see patients from M-F 8-5 with no call and no weekends. Some rounding in the hospital in the future is a possibility as you become more established. You will see roughly 20 patients per day and you will be collaborating with the physician on patients with typical internal medicine ailments. Our patient base is 18+. This position includes a salary range of 80-90K depending on experience and includes PTO, CME, Malpractice and licensing fees. We do not offer health insurance or 401K.
